Great fun this morning. Sgt. Brothers [not listed in Hayes’ index] drilling the band this morning. Everybody going every way but the right one. Band pratice [sic] in the afternoon. Jas. [James, Westville, NS] Roy back tonight. At Strand in eveing [sic]. Very cold again.
